The Summerville Community Resource Center is determined to reach our community through education and job training. We want to empower any individual that is dedicated to receiving a higher form of education. We believe in a sustainable and holistic approach to poverty. Once these men and women receive educational training, they will be able to find higher quality jobs.

Our main focus isn't on these individuals' educational training, rather we are focused on what this training will provide for their families and the surrounding community.

Our founder, (Mr. Louis Smith) and his staff have dedicated their life to changing this community. They want to effect the community from the ground up. We want to use education and job training to begin the renewal process for Summerville's underprivileged.

We will use education as a spring board to effectively facilitate the community change. We also focus on drug awareness, women empowerment, and developing our next generation's leaders. We want to leave a lasting mark on the Summerville community.
